The Natural Sepia

The Natural Sepia

Today when I was going to office, it was raining heavily, the traffic was as expected of a rainy day.My bus stopped at a signal post, suddenly nowhere out of the blue, a ditch with clear water caught my attention. The roads were muddy with lot of dirt, but at the ditch which is at a place near Kukatpally, the water was flowing. As it was flowing, it was clear. It only becomes muddy when some vehicle ran over it, letting the settled mud to disperse in the clear water. When the mud dispersed in water, the reflection of the surrounding was seen and it felt like an image taken of a camera with Sepia settings. It was very happy to see that, a brief moment though - the space between me seeing the reflection in that muddy water and the water becoming clear and again the vehicle running over it, giving again another picture of the beautiful nature. Of course the light was perfect and added to the sheer happy experience that I had this morning.

The "Natural" - I referred here is the change in the Sepia-n (Sepian) intensity which will slowly fade away into the memories of the viewer as the dirt in the water settles down and a clear picture is revealed. It was quite a great moment. I wonder how many people have observed this phenomenon.

Anyway meet you with another post, soon.

With lots of love and affection,
Sunil Kumar Dugulam.
